The Consoling Sisters of the Sacred Heart are a group of religious women who work and live in Italy and India. The vocations come from USA. This particular group is under the SSPX with their own "congregation" or rules of their order. The order was founded back in 1962. I know I never heard of them till recently either! This is their website: www.consolingsisters.org/
The month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in June -the Sisters accepted new Sisters into their order. (See picture of their names below - borrowed picture from their website). Please pray for perseverance of these new novices in their vocations as Sisters. This particular order is not a contemplative order - though they do have a "contemplative spirit" - they work with children, schools, catechism, helping an orphanage in India, etc. On this page of their website - they have a video that explains more about what they do: https://www.consolingsisters.org/who-we-are.html The Sisters also sent me a longer document about their history. So, if you want that document, please ask and I'll send it to you. Right now, I am in communication with them (The Consoling Sisters) and hoping to start up an Auxiliary group. Auxiliaries are common among religious - they offer support in prayer and are almost like being a third order member - but not quite - so one could still join a "real third order" and still belong to an auxiliary. The auxiliaries would offer daily prayers and/or weekly prayers specifically for the Sisters and their mission. They would also be part of an Honor Guard - where one offers prayers or work/action during a specific time of day (either daily or weekly). These prayers and works are good to help unite ourselves with reparation to Jesus' Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Anyway, since the auxiliary idea is not finalized yet - just pray for this and perhaps we can get it started. For now, I ask for prayers that if it is God's will for this to start up - I would like to be kind of founding member and help it get started locally. OK, That's all for this blog post. God Bless.
